Daniel has been invited to speak to a DTS in Musinberg about hearing God’s voice and began yet another full week of teaching just yesterday! Today is particularly special however, because Tollee, Dan’s friend from Redhill, came to listen to him teach!
On our ride to the YWAM base this morning, Tollee said he was very excited for something special to do today otherwise, he would just sit in his shack with nothing to do like all of the other days.
We learned quickly that day in and day out that’s what so many people “do”, sit in their small tin homes, waiting for anther day to pass. With no vision, no job, no motivation and no hope, it is no wonder that year after year passes with little to no change in these devastated communities. But now, things are changing and I am so encouraged and proud as I watch this man’s life begin to transform because of Dan’s friendship with him. Tollee is definitely a person who responds to what is being poured into his life by pouring out into others lives around him {which is exactly our desire for people!}. He has been faithfully taking initiative to gather his friends and host bible studies with them, he his looking for work, he is true to his word and shows up to appointments. He is trying and his life is changing.
You can keep both Dan & Tollee in your prayers today and the days that follow. Pray for Dan, as he teaches and is serving in many other ways this week both at YWAM, All Nations, RedHill and at home {as we do our best to finally settle into a place}. Pray for Tollee today as he is looking for work, healing from some very painful injuries and is longing to know Jesus more.
I am eagerly awaiting today’s report about Tollee’s response to being at the YWAM base and hearing Dan’s teaching so I will let you know more details when they come!
