Our English classes have been going beautifully and the relationships we've gained from them are more than encouraging. We are joyfully expectant of the "fruit that will remain" from these 2 months in India after we leave because of the response we have had from the Tibetans, particularly the monks. We have been invited to teach in their monastery where English class quickly transformed into a discovery bible study. These warmhearted and spiritually open men have eagerly invited us to help them discover the wisdom that the word of God has to offer. Three days a week they gathering together, sharing what they are thankful for, what they are in need of and asking how they be obedient to what they've just read and learned from the bible.
Please pray that there will be a progression and smooth transition from the thought that "all paths lead to one" and Jesus is just another option. Please pray that the eyes of their hearts will be enlightened to see that the love of God demands our full attention because of his holiness and jealous love for his children!
Jesus LOVES the Tibetans and it is really exciting for us to watch them discover that!
