Mrs. Maudsley's Art

we've missed this place...

3 years ago, Daniel and I stopped into an appealing looking art gallery and met the most honest, beautiful and charming artist named Shelly Maudsley White...

 Our initial meeting was quite divine and we ended praying together with her for her family. Now, three years later we found ourselves back in Kona remembering this precious woman and decided to stop by for a 2nd visit. Our connection with Shelly was quickly rekindled and what transpired from our time together was nothing short of a huge blessing {for us all!}

Shelly very kindly surprised us with a check for a sum of money that was extremely 

{As a result of having wheels...we've seen some great people & great stuff}

Generous! 

This spontaneous giving brought us to the Lord into a deeper place of worship than we had already been experiencing that morning.  Now as a result, we are asking God  more than ever " why" and "what" : Why have we received and continued to receive such unmerited favor in the eyes of man? What are you wanting to do through us because of the generosity that's been lavished upon us?

One of the things we know is that we  have been entrusted by God and by people to do rightly with the many gifts we've been given and we are so excited about that. Dan and both grew up in families who taught us to share generously of whatever you have to share with those around you and we feel excited to continue that legacy.

There is much to say on the subject, but in short, we have received a very surpring 'Aloha' 
from God through the Big Island and His people in it! Our first two days here we were also given a car to borrow and to drive around the island; recalling many of our fond memories from my DTS.

A great BIG 'Mahalo' to Jesus and the beautiful Mrs. Maudsley for being the hands of Jesus to us in our initial 24 hours back to the island!
