I love you, I love you not.

This week I'm thinking about how our imperfect LOVE for one another often fails but how God's perfect love NEVER fails.I'm thankful this week for the nature of God which is full of second chances, redemption and grace that allow us to learn to LOVE as he has loved us.

In Baby safe news here are the ways we've seen this nature of God work out in practical ways:
Redemption: A formally abandoned infant has been placed back with her mother. The mother cried when the child was returned to her. The mother's reaction was a direct answer to our prayers for a heart of repentance and a new bond to be formed with her baby.
{A staff member will be supervising this placement and acting as  this woman's "mommy mentor". }

Grace: Our expectations regarding the Radiant Village donor are growing as we've learned of his plans to come during the last weekend in November. We are believing God for the acquisition of a property for Baby Safe to expand.
Grace: For one of our foster mothers who has been caring for a child for 11 months. Baby's attachment issues and the spiritual warfare surrounding his birth family ( ancestral worship)  has caused this to be an extremely challenging placement.  Foster mom is nearing burn out; baby is chronically ill with severe breathing problems and often rushed to the hospital. His problems are so severe that its affected his hearing but he is safe in her care and commitment to him.
Second Chances: Abortion Clients
  •  "M"- who is now indecisive about her abortion.
  •  "G"- who is has been held hostage by fear that the baby she is carrying will also die (6 weeks pregnant), because her first child died at the age of 10 months. She has came to abort twice but hasn't yet, she is still in decision.
  • Pray for "N", 13 weeks pregnant, she is too far a long to abort at our hospital so has been referred to a different one. However, after the Lord ministered deeply to her heart during counselling, we  pray she will find the courage to trust God to provide for another child. She has AIDS and TB - we are asking God for a miraculous healing as well.
God's love is perfect even though our's waivers and our circumstances are far from it. Today, I'm thankful for His perfect love in our imperfect lives.
