Checking In....

So sorry for the huge communication silence. It has been a wild past 10 days moving here to Zanzibar as Me and I are helping lead the team these first few weeks until the 'main' leader can get here.
We did make it safe and sound and this place is wild...it's like Arabia meets Fiji. You would be amazed by all the smells, foods, mosques, people, buildings, etc...it is pretty wild. We spend many of our days in an area called Stone Town...look it up on the internet for some pictures...it is  pretty wild. A little section of the town that is all little alley ways with tons of little shops, markets, and people. It is extremely hot here and has rained a lot. One of the hotter places I have been I think outside of India.  That plus rain makes it difficult to get out and meet people many days...that would be one of our largest prayer requests...especially since the girls all wear head coverings and no shoulders showing and the guys all wear pants...We need grace! We are beginning to meet a lot of people and that is exciting. Please keep those prayers coming!
