home again home again

We spent an amazing two weeks with my family in Santa Barbara; my sister in law flew out from Hawaii to visit us, and Daniel and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary! It was an enjoyable, refreshing reunion that flew by all too quickly but still, we feel we were really able to savor the time we had with our friends and family in my beautiful hometown. God's hand was very evident in the way he orchestrated our short time in a way that allowed us to connect with almost everyone we would have wanted. Still, there remains a handful of loved ones we were unable to see but we trust that our next trip will be filled with more happy times that include them as well. Daniel and I were very encouraged and blessed by the prayer covering we received from our family and dearest friends during our time; it was made very clear to us that we are very loved by so many people in both of our hometowns... therefore, we receive double the LOVE when we come home! My heart is overwhelmed by how well we are loved by them all and I am very aware at this moment as I reflect on the precious gift of family and friendship that we have gained in our union.
