So encouraged as we experienced our first Bible Study in the township run independently without us. What that means is this...basically one of the spiritually 'open' people we have formed relationship with gathered his own group of people from his community, went over prayer requests with them all and prayed, read a scripture together and then facilitated a discussion on what God was telling them to do. This is so important because when they do it on their own they realize they don't need the 'white' people to teach them, they just need the Holy Spirit. Not only that, when they discover truths on their own, they stick 10 times more than when we show them or preach it to them. Mind you most of these people are not really believers who are doing this. We will continue to meet with this guy and coach him from the outside while he is the inside leader of this group. Praise the Lord! Please pray for him and his little group. His name is Peter. Amen!
