Vicky's Eyes

Hey everyone! We have officially made it back safe and sound to HOT New Delhi via wild train ride. We actually had so much fun, especially with my dad...he has been quite the trooper. Now tonight Meehan and 4 others will fly back to lovely Cape Town while Matt, my dad and I will press on to Bhutan! With that said, we found out we will have a few extra days in Delhi so we prayed and felt to get one of our closests friends from Dharamsala's eyes checked out by a good doctor here. Our friends name is is Vicky(picture above closest to me) and we have known him for over 4 years now. He is a shoe worker on the side of the road from an extremely poor family. We love his heart and although from a Hindu background, has really come to be interested in Jesus and all of his stories. He and his best friend Shiva have been asking us for stories weekly to share with them. Vicky is blind in one eye and can not see well from the other since birth. We have prayed for him many times and feel like maybe God wants to heal his eyes in a different way? So here we are in Delhi....Vicky will arrive tomorrow and our goal is to get him checked out by a specialist. Please pray for these next days that we find the doctor we need to and that he/she might find the problem with Vicky's eyes! Also, please pray for Meeh and the others as they head out back to Cape Town...safe travels...and bags! LOVE FROM INDIA
