It's Happening...

Just a little update on the church planting. We have now been here just a little over three weeks in South Africa. It is actually pretty incredible what God is already doing in this short amount of time with the 45 students here. We were placed into about 6 separate groups that work in three different townships. We started by simply going out into these communities looking for a ‘ person of peace’, like in Luke 10. Once we found one of these people who was open and excited to start a Bible study with a group of there friends we set up times with them to do so. Coming into this I had no idea if this would actually work? I had questions if there were really people out there that God could be preparing who don’t believe in Him yet that would be willing to start a Bible study. Now that we are in our third week though there are numerous groups already started. It’s wild how easy it was when we allowed one open person gather a group rather than us go and try one by one to gather a group. Jesus definitely knew what He was talking about!
